I am an experienced professional pet care specialist. I am reliable and love animals! I offer personalized care and attention for your furry friend during their visits. All services include a text update at the completion of the visit and any packages brought inside your home.
I understand that your schedule can be unpredictable, so I offer flexible scheduling options to fit your needs. Whether you need daily, occasional or vacation pet care, I've got you covered.
Your pets' safety is my top priority. That's why I am insured and bonded through Business Insurers of the Carolinas and also Pet First Aid/CPR certified through the American Red Cross.
Every pet is unique, which is why I offer customized care plans to fit your pet's specific needs. Whether your pet needs extra attention or playtime, a meal or medication administered (basic meds only), I've got your pets' back.
My Aussie, Enzo (he is the Aussie on the right in the picture below), is available for private playtime visits at your home. He is a friendly, playful, well socialized young dog. This service includes Enzo coming with me into your outdoor space to play/hang with your dog. This is a great way for your pet to get exercise, socialization and make a new friend. It is also a good alternative to the dog park. I always closely supervise the playtime and make sure that everyone is enjoying the visit.
This is a "drop in" visit to your home. It is available for dogs, cats and small animals (sorry no reptiles). I can incorporate a potty break/short walk, feeding, brushing, playtime, administration of basic meds, or anything else you request... and of course lots of love for your pet!! I do require a minimum of one visit per day if you are gone overnight (this is for your pets' wellness and safety). *Prices include up to two pets add $5 for each additional pet.*
All night dedicated to your pet (s) in your home! I generally arrive around 7pm and stay until at least 7 am (sometimes later, depending on my schedule). For the 24 hr visit, I am at your home with your pet all day/night. I will take a daily 2 hr personal break, at a time agreed upon during this service. For both types of O/N stays your pet(s) will be fed meals, administered any meds needed, taken on potty breaks, litter boxes cleaned, etc. and get TONS of snuggles and love.
Need your pet taken to the groomer, the vet or a friends house? I have you covered! Fee will be dependent on time and distance needed for pet transport.
Need help running pet related errands? I can pick up your pets food, fave toys, meds from the vet, etc. Fee will be dependent on time and distance needed to run errand.
On vacay in our great town and want to take some time to explore or have a meal without worrying about your pet at your hotel? I'll come hang out with your pet! Custom care at hotel, minimum 1 hr visit is $50 or 2 hrs at $80.
If you will be traveling or you live in your home part time, I offer my services for house checks. This service includes conducting a physical security check of the interior and exterior of your home (I have discovered broken water lines, pest infestations, security camera issues, etc. at clients homes using this service) removing all flyers from the front door/ mailbox area, trash cans to/from curb, mail/packages brought inside home, checking vehicles on charging tenders, etc.
I am the owner/operator of Eastwood's Pet Care, LLC. I previously owned/operated a very successful pet sitting/dog walking company in Laguna Niguel, which I sold in 2018. I grew up in Santa Barbara and am excited to be back home and to be able to offer my services to pet parents in the area!
I am a life long pet parent. As a child our family always had multiple dogs, cats, rabbits and even a horse. As an adult, I have had many dogs and cats. Each one of my pets has been so special to me and I am truly thankful for the love that they have given me. I currently have a mini Aussie named Tater Tot and a standard size 11 mos old Aussie named Enzo. I lost my Aussie, Eastwood, to Lymphoma in 2024. It was a devastating experience, as losing a cherished pet always is. Eastwood is the dog I am with in these pictures. I named my company in his honor.
I have extensive professional and personal experience with dogs (puppies to seniors) and cats. I also have professional experience with rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, chinchillas, turtles, birds and fish.
I understand how important it is to be reliable, trustworthy, communicative and detail orientated when working with my clients pets. I also understand that you giving me access to your home (and of course your pet) is a BIG deal. I think that this approach to running my business and truly being an animal lover is what made my former pet sitting/dog walking business so successful.
I have helped clients raise their pets and I have been there to say goodbye, when that time has come (if a client has asked me to be there). I have taken care of teething puppies and wheelchair bound dogs and have given every pet left in my care all the love that I give my own.
Eastwood's Pet Care is my company, my reputation and how I make my living. I am the only person who will be taking care of your pet/in your home and if I ever decide to bring on any staff I will be completely transparent.
Trust is a non-negotiable aspect of any business....but, in my opinion even more critical when caring for a pet and being in someones' home. With this in mind, I want you to know that I am licensed, insured, bonded and Pet CPR certified.
I would truly be honored to take care of your fur baby.
Thank you for your consideration.
If you are interested in setting up a FREE 30 mins consultation, or have questions, please send me a message here, email me directly or call me at (805) 662-5439 and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Thank you!

We need to have a consultation, before I can accept you as a client. I need to make sure that I am a good fit for you and your pet and I want to make sure that you feel that I am a good fit for you! Once you are an established client you can book anytime by texting, calling or emailing.
"Private Playtime Visits" with Enzo can be scheduled for anytime, between 10am-4pm.
Pet sitting visits for households with dogs are generally scheduled daily between 7am - 9:30am, 12pm-2pm and 5pm-7pm. If you want/need more than three visits per day or you need a different schedule, we can figure it out. All of this will be discussed when we meet at our initial free consultation.
Pet sitting visits for cats and small animals are scheduled at different times during the day (based on our schedule), although we can discuss your time of day preference at our consultation and I will make every effort to accommodate.
If you are a regular, established client, and I am available I will make every effort to fit you in! But, remember, it's just me. So, advanced notice in your best bet.
No. I charge by the amount of time that is needed to take care of your pet, not by what I am doing. I will administer basic meds (I do not administer shots or IV meds) to your pet, assuming that they will allow me to do it. If for some reason I can't get your pet to take their meds, I will contact you immediately. I have found most dogs to be responsive to peanut butter. :)
I sure do! You are going to want to get on my schedule as early as possible. Holidays are a pretty crazy time for my business and with me being a "one person show", I can only take on so many clients.
Also, I do have a Holiday Surcharge of $20/day. This surcharge applies to Easter Day, Memorial Day weekend (Sat-Mon), July 4th, Labor Day weekend (Sat-Mon), Thanksgiving day and the Friday after, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day.
Yes, I always want you to fill out the paperwork before the consultation, if at all possible. That way I can review it during your consultation and ask any questions that I may have. I will also need to get 2 copies of your house key (one to have on me and one to lock in my office). I label these keys with only your pets name, for security purposes. If you have an alarm, please arrange for me to have my own code. This way you can turn my access on and off as you like. I will give you my preferred personal security code when we meet.
I accept Cash, Checks, Venmo and Zelle.
No, I prefer to keep the admin side of the business really simple so I can spend my time taking care of my clients pets. With that being said, regular scheduled weekly walk/visit clients should plan to leave payment or send electronic payment on the day of the last walk/visit for the week.
For clients who have booked pet services for while you are on vacation or traveling for work I request that you leave payment at your home for me or send electronic payment on the first day of service.
Things happen, I get it. Just please understand that this is how I make my living. So, cancellations are tough, especially at the last minute. If I start to feel that you are cancelling too much, I'll let you know. But, hopefully it doesn't come to that.
